From the Deep #006 ft FADEL (1st Hour) & TAPESH (2nd Hour)

Finally the mixes have been uploaded ;) Last months special episode of From the Deep did not even feature a mix from myself as usual. That spot was taken by a good friend of mine that I have shared the decks with, Fadel. The second hour was where the madness took over and Tech House sensation Tapesh joined in! Fadel, born Fadel Lahlou is a Deep House, House & Tech-House Producer // DJ // Remixer // Live Act Percussionist established in Montreal, Canada.

Whether it is Deep House,Tech-House, or Upbeat House, Fadel takes you on trippy, groovy and well crafted melange of electronic genres creating a unique melodic, percussive and vocal ambiance in any clubs he takes control of. His sets were were showcased on several online radios such as ODU.fm, Pulse Radio, Radioparty.fm, and Alessandro Vince's podcast.

Stelios Vassiloudis is a musician, producer and DJ specializing in electronic house music. He has released music under various other monikers and aliases over the last 5 years, racking up an impressive discography and collaborating with an exciting and diverse number of labels such as Moodmusic, Bedrock, and Dieb Audio to name a select few.

His coveted production skills have also garnered numerous remix opportunities for a wide range of artists such as: John Digweed, Nick Warren, Sasse, Sander Kleinenberg and Shlomi Aber, among others. Stelios’ original and remix production work can often be found in many a DJ's record box/cd wallet/hard-drive and heard on dancefloors worldwide. Some of his most vocal supporters over the years have been luminaries like: Sasha, Josh Wink, Laurent Garnier, Satoshi Tomiie and Stephan Bodzin.

More recently his work with Florian Kruse and Nils Nurnberg under the Wiretappeur guise has seen him signing productions to Bedrock as well as remixing a few key releases on the label, one of them being for John Digweed himself. These have seen Wiretappeur hit the Top 5 of the Beatport charts and their deep house vibes and warm sounds are firm favorites for many acclaimed DJ's.

Working so closely with Bedrock has also resulted in Stelios signing an artist album deal with the label, which is scheduled for release in November 2011. Along with his solo productions, his debut album also includes collaborations with some key artists and guest vocalists. Structured over two discs, the album commences with a beautiful cinematic soundscape on CD1 with CD2 allowing Stelios to showcase more of a club sound, which develops from deep house grooves right through to a techier acidic vibe. Both discs are exquisitely blended and mixed, with each track meshing itself into the next to create a stunning debut album from this very talented artist.

As a DJ, Stelios has traveled all over the world playing his particular brand of deep house and techno to enthusiastic crowds in locations as diverse and intriguing as Brazil, China, Colombia, Russia and Japan among many, many others. Whether performing to an intimate crowd in a small capacity club or in front of thousands at a big festival, the combination of his unique approach and accomplished work ethic, grant him the effortless and inspired vision of a seasoned professional and rising star of the global electronic dance scene.

"The Journey" #015 Guest Tom Flynn [InsomniaFM]

Awarded the 'Best Break Through Producer of 2010' award by Pete Tong, England's Tom Flynn is renowned as one of House musics most respected forward thinking producers. An International DJ, Producer, Engineer and Remixer, Tom has regularly graced the worlds biggest dance floors as well as gaining an army of fans along the way. His DJ sets range through the whole spectrum of house, from deep to techno, which also reflects itself in his productions and remixes.

Having released on labels such as Anabatic, Dirtybird, BreakNewSoil, Clarisse, Deadfish, SIZE, etc etc, it's not hard to see why Tom has gained praise and recognition from the cream of the worlds best DJ's. His music can regularly be heard on Pete Tongs Essential Selection show on BBC Radio 1, where he has also won the 'Essential New Tune' for 'Bianca', as well as in the record boxes of Richie Hawtin, Luciano, Dubfire, Yousef, Claude Vonstroke, Booka Shade, Mendo and Loco Dice. Several Music Magazines and Blogs have recently sited Tom as one of House musics brightest stars and it's easy to see why.

Coming from a very musical background, there was only one way Tom was going to go once House music had been discovered at the early age of 12. From recently learning to play piano to picking up studio secrets from mentor Lee Fisher (of MOTHER fame), and studying music at college, Tom has been hard at work in and out of the studio ever since. "I really love nothing more than progressing and learning as an artist, producer and engineer, trying to do something new, different and pushing this sound of ours forward"
